Discover a beach surrounded by the beauty of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Welcome to the Beach at Lake Lure. Relax under the sun, float on the water, build sand castles with your children, or picnic with friends and family. These are just a few of the simple pleasures of the Beach at Lake Lure. For a soaking good time visit our water park, a place which brings out the child in all of us. Soaking games, a water slide, water cannons and the water wars make the water park wet fun. Admission to the water park is included in the admission price of the beach.

The Beach will only be open Saturdays and Sundays beginning August 23rd through the end of September. The Beach will be open on Labor Day, September 6th. 

Beach Hours

The beach is open from 10:00am until 6:00pm on days of operation.

Admission to the Beach and Water Works - 2010 Daily Rates

Adults - $8
Seniors - $7
Children (4-12) - $6
Children under 4 - no charge when accompanied by an adult

• Minimum height to use the water slide 45 inches
• All children 16 and younger must be accompanied by an adult
• Free admission for 1 non-swimming adult per family or group to supervise swimming children if the group or family is not accompanied by a swimming adult
• Residents of Lake Lure Town Limits no charge for admission with an official North Carolina Identification Card or Drivers License showing a Lake Lure Town Limits address
• Groups of twenty or more paying for the entire group
  receive $1 off the admission price
• Pool Creek Meadows Picnic Area rental $50 per hour
