The 1927 Lake Lure Inn & Spa is a destination wedding venue in the heart of the Blue Ridge Mountains. This hotel venue combines historic charm and modern amenities to create an unforgettable wedding celebration! They offer onsite accommodations, dedicated event staff, lakeside and mountain ceremony locations, beautifully appointed indoor/outdoor reception spaces, full service catering and bar services, onsite salon and spa, tables, chairs, linens, and all service and dinner ware. The Morse Park Meadows Gazebo features 360 panoramic mountain views and lakefront beauty for stunning ceremony backdrop. After the ceremony, guests will make their way to the Tanner Dining Room, Veranda Terrace, and Poolside. These three venue spaces combined will seat up to 215 guests. Enjoy cocktails and Hors D'oeuvres at poolside, dine in style in the Tanner Dining Room, and dance the night away under the covered Veranda Terrace.
For a more intimate celebration, the Gardens Courtyard and Roosevelt Hall are the ideal ceremony and reception location with seating for up to 80 guests. A private courtyard, beautiful pergola, and manicured garden create a perfect ceremony backdrop. After the "I Dos," Roosevelt Hall will provide a fabulous reception celebration location. This venue features original hardwood floors, 12 foot ceilings, eight chandeliers, and magnificent stone fireplace.
The Lake Lure Beach venue combines a lakefront ceremony and dedicated reception space. This more relaxed option offers a waterfront ceremony overlooking the mountains and lake. A covered pavilion with seating for up to 125, cafe lights, and mountain views provide a perfect location to dance and celebrate.
Full service onsite catering and alcohol services include tasting menu consultations, dedicated onsite kitchen and staff, and full service bar selections to customize a perfect reception alcohol package.
A variety of 72 rooms, suites, and cabins are available. All couples receive a complimentary room for the night of the wedding. Guest room blocks with special rates are available. Complimentary parking, high speed Wi-Fi, and daily breakfast are included.

Our renovated historical Inn features a Grand Lobby filled with antiques and music boxes from around the globe. At the center of the lobby lies the Grand Staircase, framed by hand crafted, stained glass windows. This space is ideal for an extravagant buffet or elegant cocktail hour.
Dining Room , Veranda Terrace, and Poolside
Our most popular ceremony and reception site is a combination of our Tanner Dining Room, Veranda Terrace and Poolside. This magical, Mediterranean-inspired setting provides an elegant dining experience for up to 215 guests. Tall french style doors open to the covered terrace, offering a breathtaking view of Lake Lure and the surrounding mountains. The Poolside is a lovely outdoor ceremony site and offers a beautiful locale for an elegant hors d'oeuvres and cocktail hour.
Roosevelt Hall
Originally used for filming scenes from the popular film "Dirty Dancing", Roosevelt Hall is perfect for gatherings of guests up to 75. Eight chandeliers, 11 ft ceilings, and a grand fireplace create an intimate, yet spacious atmosphere.
Powers Room
Situated off our main lobby, the Powers Room is ideal for smaller, more intimate gatherings. Separated by elegant French doors, this venue accommodates parties of up to 20 guests for private dining.
Lakeside Gazebo
This beautiful, six-sided open air Gazebo comes complete with electrical outlets, accent lighting, natural wooden beams, and wonderful natural rock inlays. Rental also includes the meadows area surrounding the Gazebo, giving you and your guests ample room to relax and enjoy the majestic scenery and beautiful locale.
Historic Trolley and Carriage
Our 32 passenger historic Trolley is an excellent way to transport guests from an off-site ceremony location to your reception. Many of our newlyweds travel back to the Inn by way of Horse and Carriage, available in several styles.
Welcome Party Bonfire on the Beach
Why wait to greet your guests at the reception? Treat your family and friends to a
"Welcome Party" bonfire on the beach. Enjoy a 2 hour private rental on Lake Lure Beach, complete with tiki torches, s'mores and music for only $600 plus tax.

Tours of the Inn and our signature venues are available Wednesday through Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Appointments are required and book up early.
